My favourite film this week was the 2009 Chilean film The Dancer and the Thief, which I saw last Saturday. 

Why I liked it?

1. It's about human beings - people who get it right and get it wrong.

2. It stars Ricardo Darín, an Argentinian actor that I love.

3. The music and the dance scenes are superb.

4. The final sequence is beautiful and touched me profoundly.

5. It reminded me of my trip to Santiago a few years back - the Andes surrounding the entire city.
