M*DEL F*CKR

New Street Wear Series Seduces Fashion Week

Industry slang describing our sexual fascination with models branded as new street wear series, tops Fashion Week Twitter feeds.

Aside from being fascinating individuals, what do Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Mick Jagger, Mickey Rourke, and Madonna all have in common? They've all dated members of the high-cheekboned set at some point in their careers. Sleeping with models rather than your average civilian has always been a titillating curiosity for most of us.

New York-based artist Skye Nicolas has created a series of 90's inspired street wear fittingly called M*DEL F*CKR - a perfect nod to the lucky souls who seem to possess the superpower of attracting the genetically gifted. Nicolas himself has experienced being the subject of tabloid fanfare. A particular one chronicles his alleged late night romps which involve video camera play with supermodels in luxurious Upper East Side hotels. Such stories have surely given the charming artist his fair share of being called a "M*DEL F*CKR", as gossip continues to fuel a reputation for being one.

Transforming the colloquial term into a recognizable logo graphic playfully destigmatizes its instinctively incendiary context, replacing it with affectionate banter intended to praise; the ultimate compliment promising unabated adulation.

Street wear savvy models wearing M*DEL F*CKR signature logo tees and beanies were spotted backstage at New York Fashion Week. Top models Vlada Roslyakova, Alina Baikova, and Maryna Linchuk were some of the lucky few to rock the merchandise a few days before. Photos of M*DEL F*CKR merchandise were featured as some of the most retweeted photos in the New York Fashion Week (#NYFW) , London Fashion Week (#LFW), and Paris Fashion Week (#PFW) Twitter feed.

M*DEL F*CKR is slowly starting to spead like wildfire via social media. Victoria's Secret girl Sessilee Lopez and runway favorite Anabela Belikova have posted selfies on Instagram wearing M*DEL F*CKR logo beanies. It won't be long till mainstream fashion fans tune in to all the excitement.

The premium logo tees are truly authentic in their 90's-style cut and Loosey-Goosey Sizing™. Hot snapback hats and and special collector edition skateboard decks are scheduled for their release this summer, while ultra comfortable logo sweatshirts are to be released in the fall.

M*DEL F*CKR street wear can be purchased at Induced Nostalgia (the artist's Tumblr blog), giving us the satisfaction that we're in on the underground hipness, often exclusive to industry insiders.

Pro tip: The initial release sold out within an hour, so it would be wise to get yourself M*DEL F*CKR merch before DiCaprio's posse buy a boatload.
